“The Australian Curriculum: Policy and Practice” - Dr. Phil Lambert, General Manager of Curriculum, ACARA
“Opportunities for Teaching Weather and Climate in the New National Curriculum” - Prof. Nigel Tapper, Monash University Lightning lecture (single slide) presentations followed by posters/interactive displays from all session presenters on subjects ranging from primary through to tertiary education 

10:30 – 11:00 - Morning tea
(during this time all conference attendees will be able to view poster/display presentations from the education and outreach session and interact with teachers)

11:00 -12:15 - Parallel Science Sessions
Model intercomparison and climate change/ High Impact Weather/Waves and Coasts/Past Climate (teachers may attend any session of choice)

12:15 -13:15 - Teacher Network Lunch
