AMOS 2014 Education and Outreach Day

Friday, 14 February 2014
Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart Tasmania

The Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society would like to extend an invitation to Tasmanian primary and secondary school teachers to participate in our national conference. This annual conference attracts over 300 scientists from around Australia and overseas to present the latest research in meteorology, oceanography and climate science.

An Education and Outreach Day is being held on Friday 14 February, 2014 to foster discussions and networking opportunities between scientists, academics and teachers. There will be opportunity for teachers to also attend keynote addresses, plenaries and various scientific sessions throughout the day to get their finger on the pulse of current research. This conference moves from state to state every year so this is a rare opportunity for Tasmanian teachers to engage with climate scientists from all across Australia right here in Hobart!  Click here for programme
